Gears of War 2 coming (if #1 is a hit)

Yeah I know, what a surprise right? After making all the Unreal sequels, Gears of War lead designer Cliffy Bleszinski, aka Cliffy B, recently said that as soon as Gears of War is finished, he’s starting on a sequel.

To quote him from a Yahoo! News chat on what he’ll be doing in the future, after Gears of War. “Gears of War 2, I’d imagine.” The game will be out this Christmas.

Seems like Epic is confident that Gears of War will be a big hit, the game has already been hyped up as one of the most anticipated games coming to the Xbox 360. Right after Halo 3, of course. Click on ‘play’ below to watch the trailer:

I would like to say…Thank you. Gears of War was the best shooter game I’ve ever played. I’ve beat it so many times. I just can’t get enough of it. G.O.W 2 should be just as good as the first one. With more guns, more grubs, bigger bosses, and longer stages. There are a few glitches in the first one but, who cares. The story line should have more twists in it. And you should be able to move from building to building without having to be stopped. I know that sounds lie alot, but 30 million unit in just 10 weeks on the shelf…you don the math. Now, I hear rumors of a G.O.W movie in the makes, any details on that. Email me. Yeah! Whoa! Bring it on sucka!! This my kind of shit!!!! Oh yea, keep “The Cole Train” in it.

I want to use cole as a usable player

i think they should make ( in gow 2 ) a plasma mine which has a 5 second timer on it and you can place it on a wall or on the floor and when it goes off it disintergrates everything in its blast radias.

Please Please Please….2 Campaign Modes….One For COG And One for Locust…Same story line just diffrent Point Of Views…I think that would be awesome…O yea Charecter 4 player Co-Op

Lots of people are saying that there should be a locust campaign… But how can there be when there are only probably like 200 gears left in existence or something, that would make the game even shorter because you wouldn’t have any people to kill! And you would only be killing Gears, no variation on your enemies… Unless they brought in a new race or something

I think gears of war was to short you have to make it longer with more weapons but keep the active reloads.Also they should have harder bigger and stronger enemies to fight.

i hate that in gow1 the online is only 4v4 they should have it a 8v8 like halo 2 had that would make it more fun and an exciting battle.

ok the 4 on 4 is great why? beacuse 20 on 20.. your just shooting random ppl never really get to know people. but 4 on 4 you make friends you shoot with revenage get my drift? best game ever of all time. Cant wait to finish work and get on my xbox 360

Gears of war is awsome can’t wait till the 2nd. The 4 on 4 is cool but i think 6 on 6 would be better. Maybe also in gears of war 2 you can get rid of the host advantage. Also make the missions longer i beat the game on insane in 6 hours.

when will GOW 2 come out, is there a set date ?, awesome game !!!
did any of u guys experienced while playing d game an interruption with message saying “the disc is unreadable, please clean d disc”, I encountered this problem since game was brand new, I took d cd out and it was clean, only happens with this particular game, it happened especially when I paused d game and then started playing it again after a few minutes, with d rest of my collection of games, this does not happen.
