Gears of War 2 coming (if #1 is a hit)

Yeah I know, what a surprise right? After making all the Unreal sequels, Gears of War lead designer Cliffy Bleszinski, aka Cliffy B, recently said that as soon as Gears of War is finished, he’s starting on a sequel.

To quote him from a Yahoo! News chat on what he’ll be doing in the future, after Gears of War. “Gears of War 2, I’d imagine.” The game will be out this Christmas.

Seems like Epic is confident that Gears of War will be a big hit, the game has already been hyped up as one of the most anticipated games coming to the Xbox 360. Right after Halo 3, of course. Click on ‘play’ below to watch the trailer:

Gears was a great game but one thing it needs is more Bosses. Guns and more more chapters.

GOW woz fukin ace but needs more locust and a lot more levels. Put a boss battle at the end of every level like in lost planet. You should be able to have a choice of what level to do next like in GTA games. Put in levels wre your in water, lock ness in GOW 2 lol. Steel lost planets idea with robot vehicle. Put more weapons in it aswell.

You should be able to upgrade your weapons.If you could do that in GOW 2, the game would be kick ass.Upgrading the gun with the chainsaw on it would be the best. You need more futuristic weapons like laser guns and plasma rifles. Play halo games and put them on GOW 2. that would be quality.

Gears of war is awesome! I loved everything about it! In number 2 they should have everything from 1 and more. And i know it sounds corny but wouldn’t this game be awesome if it had a jetpack? wouldnt it have been more fun if you could grab a boom shot and fly through the air taking down theron gaurds at the same time?

man gow2 will be awsome considering the fact that gow1 is already better than halo3…just because its the most diverse shooter game i ever played nothing like it…

in gow2 you should add a flamethrower but make the range short..it might have an advantage cause it shoots flames but if you shoot the tank on there back it explodes wich kills them… Also you need to make the locusts blood like a neon green because there a totally diffrent species and it would look way cooler when you chainsawed someone..cause chainsaw is getting old

i’d have to say that its one of the best games i’ve ever played.
i can’t wait for the second
and it’ll obv. be longer.
the first one wasn’t because i think that the makers didnt know if it was going to be such a huge sucess.
now that they know it is,
and that we are all waiting for GOW2, they will make it better.
I believe that GOW2 will be so much more then Halo 3.

if and when u make a GOW2 please put free for all in it. i hate when people quit in a ranked match and you dont get the points you have earned. but if that doesnt happen im sure it will still be the best game ever.
