I dont think its right how they keep saying one thing and not keeping their word. So whats the point of having all these old x-box games but I cant play them on my new 360? So I cant even buy a new x-box cause there not being made anymore. Ridiculous!

No one is concerned?! This is the kind of false-advertising that people hate. It gives us the feeling that Microsoft makes promises it can't keep. If they really think this isnt a big deal, myabe we should think of their boast about the XBOX 360 being the "ultimate" gaming system as being nothing more than a broken promise. The funny thing is that while Microsoft has made the mistake of not adding backwards compatibility to the xbox 360 design plans, Sony nip their problem in the bud a long time ago with the PS2 which was backwards compatible with ALL their games. So to make a long story short, Microsoft should learn to put their money where their mouths are before they lose their money entirely.

[...] Earlier this month we reported on comments made by Microsoft’s head of Interactive Entertainment, Peter Moore, which made it appear as if the company was not looking to work on making many more original Xbox titles backwards compatible with the Xbox 360. To quote: “Nobody is concerned anymore about backwards compatibility. We under promised and over delivered on that.” [...]
