Mega Man Anniversary CollectionAlthough the Mega Man series has showed up on a variety of machines over the years, the concentration on the consoles has been primarily PlayStation-based. Mega Man creator Inafune seems to be questioning that new games decision for next-generation’s Playstation 3, however, believing it may not “be the most suitable, uh, platform.”

What is? Nintendo Wii, apparently. “…it’s maybe one where our target audience could embrace the Mega Man series. So while we haven’t planned anything specific now at this time, I think probably that the potential is the highest on that piece of hardware.” Via: Planet Mega Man.

Is this writer retarded? Only Megaman 8, Megaman X 3-8, Megaman Powered up, Megaman X Maveric Hunter, and Legends 1 and 2 were on Sony. Megaman 1-7, Megaman X 1-3, Legends 1 and EVERY SINGLE other hand held Megaman game besides powered up and maveric hunter were on Gameboy, Gameboy color, Gameboy advance and DS…
