Katamari Damacy’s Prince races in Pac-Man World Rally
Namco today said that everybody’s favorite diminutive royal figure, Katamari Damacy’s Prince, will appear as an unlockable character in Pac-Man World Rally. Players can unlock the Prince by winning a Gold Trophy in all Circuit Cups within the “Easy” difficulty setting.
The Prince is one of a dozen playable characters in the upcoming kart racer, currently set for release this summer on PlayStation 2, PSP, GameCube, and PC. The game features 15 race tracks that are designed to contain a whole lot of jumps to keep racers on their toes.
There are 6 battle arenas for multiplayer action. You’ll also be able to collect power-ups to attack opponents, looks like Namco used their Nintendo Mario Kart Arcade experience well. IGN has Pac-Man World Rally footage.
