Soul Calibur Movie set for 2007?

Soul Calibur 3 game on Playstation 2It was over two years ago when Warren Zide’s Anthem Pictures picked up the rights to Namco Bandai’s Soul Calibur series, but we haven’t heard anything about the movie since the original announcement.

That is until soulcaliburthemovie.com was launched, which contains a Flash-based teaser for an alleged Soul Calibur movie coming in 2007 from 2nd Degree Media.

1up did a little investigation into 2nd Degree Media, which revealed they were working with Anthem Pictures on developing the Soul Calibur film, which, according to television and film tracking website Ross Reports, will shoot in Canada, Romania and China with Vijay P. Agarwal executive producing and Mickey Agarwal and Alan Noel Vega producing.

    i saw the trailer at soulcaliburthemovie.com .

    I found it interestingly disrubed by the fact that they found a quote from Nostradamus fo the sake of the trailer

    I like the SC logo they put up though. i hope Namco maintains rights to that logo for the next SC game
