New Silent Hill games for PS2 & PSP

Silent Hill 41up mentions that in addition to the Silent Hill movie next month, Konami plans to release The Silent Hill Collection for the PS2. The collection includes versions of Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3 and Silent Hill 4: The Room. The Silent Hill Collection is slated to arrive in stores April 13, a week before the movie hits.

Sources close to 1UP have revealed that Konami is also working on a new Silent Hill for the PSP. Not to be confused with the Silent Hill Experience due later this Spring, this is a proper Silent Hill game - perhaps even the Silent Hill 1 remake that was recently alleged to be in the works (unless that happens to be the PS3 Silent Hill game in development).
