Beyond Good & Evil 2 revived
The French gaming site Jeux Expo says Ubisoft’s recently knighted Michel Ancel has begun work on a sequel to Beyond Good & Evil. The original title featured a cliffhanger ending that had fans begging for a second game.
It was believed that plans for this sequel were cancelled because of poor sales of the first Beyond Good & Evil, despite critical acclaim. Jeux Expo’s report claims that the sequel is being developed for all next-gen consoles and will be released in 2007. The game will take place shortly after the events in the original, and will allow players to travel to different planets.

You, sir, are an idiot.
I would replace any bit of _hardware_ to play software that was truly great, and offered an experience as original as the first Beyond Good & Evil.
Surely we play games because they’re good, and not because they happen to run on a certain bit of kit?
