God of War 2: Divine Retribution announced for PS2

The Official PlayStation Magazine has confirmed that the sequel to God of War carries the subtitle Divine Retribution. The game is also set for a February 2007 release on the PlayStation 2, not yet on the Playstation 3. Possibly because no one knows when it’ll be out.

The storyline this time around brings the opportunity for Kratos to ride Pegasus, sport the Golden Fleece, and even rob Icarus of his wings. More good-looking violent action on the way then. Look forward to E3 this May for more details and footage.

For the title of God of War II: Divine Retribution should just be God of War: Divine Retribution. I think it would be better if they take out the II/2 because it makes it seem more real but if the II/2 was in the title it doesn’t seem like a true story. Hopefully you understand, I couldn’t really explain it clearly.

Divine Retribution?!finally, after playing so-called games on PS2, my hunger for gore and blood will be appeased in this exquisite game made by sony,I therefore conclude that playing GOW is the only reason why tou have to own a PS2….

The date teases me when i look at it, because there is about 6 or 7 months ahead!!!
Can’t it be finished in 1 month or less. And how have you made a trailer without finishing the game? I will wait on fire to receive a message from you answering my questions in it.
