DS Lite versus DS & PSP backlight

Here’s a great video review of the original DS versus the new DS Lite and it’s features. Since you’re probably most interested in the improved backlight, here’s the movie*:

Besides now looking very easy on the eyes, it’s also equally slick looking and about twice as bright on the maximum light level as the PSP’s backlight. Check it out yourself:

um i used to have a psp and when i traded it in for a DS lite i was not surprised that the ds lite was brighter. but in actuality the screen brightness between the two is very close…. but the DS lite wins that category……GOOD JOB NINTENDO!

If you have the DS Lite on a white screen and the psp on a white screen, the psp is brighter. But not by much

I have both the DS Lite and the Sony PSP. They both have bright screens but the DS is brighter. There is no loading with the DS and you can probably carry 10 games easily in your pocket without them getting damaged. Even without cases. So I declair the DS lite the winner. But before i’m out.. for the sake of SONY ans… Playststion > PSOne, PS2 > PS2 Slim, PSP > ??? I kinda see something coming in the future, do you?

I have both the psp and ds lite and definetly the ds lite’s screen is brighter ever since i got my ds lite i stopped playing my psp the ds lite has way better games too
