Halo 2 headed to PC’s via Windows Vista
Bungie has announced what everyone had expected when a posting for PC-related jobs was listed on Bungie’s web-site. It turns out that hunches were correct, Bungie announced yesterday that they will be porting Halo 2, with the included Multiplayer Map Packs, as well as a an editor to build your own maps and levels, to the PC via Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Vista platform, for which it will exclusively run on (meaning the game will only play on Vista). Making this a great deal for Microsoft to try and lure over potential Vista gamers who have yet to try out Halo 2. Unlike the Halo game for the original Xbox, which was developed by Brother in Arms creator Gearbox Studios, this version will be developed in co-operation with Bungie themselves. No release date or other details have yet to be announced, but we’ll keep everyone posted.
