According to Mod-HQ.com, Valve’s Doug Lombardi has said that the developer is “targeting April 24th for the release of… Aftermath”, after the website interviewed him on a recent report stating the same date of release for the new episode. Assuming that date is for America, EA will distribute the Half-Life 2 add-on Aftermath to retail and it currently has the European release down for April 28th.
Lombardi has also confirmed Half-Life 1 DeathMatch: Source will be included with Aftermath ,which will be sold for around $20. If you don’t have Half-Life 2 yet or if you’re looking for a special edition, you’re in for a treat. The Platinum edition of Half-Life 2 will cost about $50 while special pre-order offers will be available for the new titles in both Steam.com and retail variations. Platinum will include HL2, HL2 DM, CS: Source, DoD: Source, and Aftermath!
