Call of Duty 2 lets players experience four individual soldier stories as they overcome insurmountable odds in multiple campaigns. Players have the freedom to follow each of the four storylines through for the ultimate character-driven experience, or they can engage in the historic battles chronologically for quick hitting action.
A launch title for Xbox 360, Call of Duty 2 was ported over from the PC original.
Infinity Ward has also expanded the First-Person Shooter scope of combat to deliver a truly realistic battlefield experience. Squads now have the freedom to take on a variety of mission objectives, on expansive battlefields that allow for multiple paths and the ability to utilize actual combat tactics like outflanking and fire and maneuver capabilities. Call of Duty 2’s new engine and A.I. technology set the stage for authentic squad combat and astonishing action. Concealment can be key as battlefield smoke or even deployed smoke grenades cloud visibility. Weather effects such as the dusty sandstorms of North Africa and whiteout blizzard conditions of Russia, for example, will keep soldiers glued to their bunkers. The team has also employed a state-of-the-art Battle Chatter System that brings the action to life as squad-mates bark out context-sensitive updates in real-time to players through an advanced A.I. system.
Call of Duty 2 is a blast from start to finish. Find out all about it in this Call of Duty 2 video review.

Of course we hate it even more that we’ll give them that attention! But really, who cares? A gamer is a gamer, and as their lists show, they play exactly the same games. Maybe someone should register malegamers.com just to get into their heads

Don’t read this if you hate spoilers! Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie features the ending millions would love to see” King Kong alive and back on Skull Island,” said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing for Ubisoft North America.
In a report from etoychest it says if you play your cards right in the game version of the Kong film, King Kong might return home the end of the game. Apparently the designers thought people wouldn’t want to play if they already knew the ending.
“To unlock the alternate ending, players must complete the entire game and then go back and play through various maps and earn a total of 250,000 points. Other unlockable features include several Weta Digital concept art galleries, interviews with both Peter Jackson and Phillipa Boyens, an “old movie” filter, a King Kong theatrical trailer and more.”
Kameo: Elements of Power is an epic adventure, full of exploration and intense combat. The future of the world depends on Kameo, who must capture, grow, and unleash a wide assortment of incredible monsters to combat ever-present evil and rescue her three Elemental Ancestors from the Dark Troll King — who threatens the planet and its wildlife.
Originally scheduled for release on Xbox in 2003 (after the GameCube version was cancelled), Kameo for Xbox was moved to the console’s successor, the Xbox 360.
Blending the heady thrills of exploration and puzzle-solving with the adrenaline rush of real-time 3D battles, Kameo: Elements of Power is an ambitious title from the makers of GoldenEye and Banjo-Kazooie. The concept mixes combat action with creature transformations, letting the title’s female star morph into monsters and use their special powers against others as Kameo searches out and battles ever-present evil. The Xbox 360 game also features multiplayer co-op play, both online and offline (split-screen).
One of the most developed and fulfilling games for the Xbox 360 launch lineup. Learn all about it in this Kameo: Elements of Power video review.

According to Reggie Fils-Aime, chief marketing officer of Nintendo, Sega is intrigued by the Nintendo Revolution’s “backwards compatibility,” however he stopped just short of a confirmation that classic Sega games will be included.
Although this news isn’t the “surprise” everyone is waiting for, the ability to play classic Sega games would without a doubt, be a huge addition to the Nintendo Revolution. If you can’t wait until 2006 to play classic Sega games, have a look at gametap.com for your Sega-fix.
With the Xbox 360’s downloadable (classic) games having online multi-player included. Here’s to hoping Nintendo will allow any classic multiplayer games, first or third party, to be made playable via WiFi worldwide…
PS: He also stated that the Classic Controller expansion for the Revolution’s controller will look similar to the GameCube’s Wavebird.

Or, you know, if you run an Arcade it’d draw a crowd as well. You can now buy your very own Mario Kart arcade machine via discountarcade.com. Priced at $17,497 which is just under £10,000 or €15.000. This version of Mario Kart probably won’t be released on a console or handheld, so if you’re lucky you might be able to find one in Japan or America. I hear paulsarcade.com might get one soon if they haven’t already.
All your favourite Mario Kart characters are present and correct, along with the likes of Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and Blinky, since the machines were developed with the help of Namco. There are six worlds featuring 24 circuits, plus “hilarious challenge stages” for those who do well in Grand Prix Mode. The game also has a “NamCam2″ feature, which means you can put your own face in the game. And if you’re feeling extra flush, why not buy two and hook them up for some four player action?
OK so if you’re a Mario Kart fan with no Arcade near, you’ll probably never find it. But at least we can all face-off against eachother in Mario Kart DS. To comfort your sadness a bit more, here’s a wallpaper for Mario Kart GP. It’s actually a big picture which you can centre to make it look like a wallpaper
